As in all states Delaware Boat Transporters need to follow the DOT regulations when relocating boats in or through the state. Transporters must have minimum 750,000 dollar liability coverage. All our transporters are licenced to operate and carry cargo insurance. Contact our Delaware Boat Transporters for more information. The basic regulations governing oversize loads in Delaware are as follows:

  • Operating hours are from sunrise to sunset, Monday through Friday. Some curfews apply in metropolitan cities.
  • Permits are required when the boat exceeds over 8.6 feet wide and 13.6 feet tall loaded.
  • Escorts ae required when the boat is over 12 feet wide. Pole car is required when boats are over 14 feet tall loaded in Delaware.
